Homemade Almond Milk

Serves 2

Time 20 minutes (plus overnight soaking)

Ingredients

200g almonds
500ml water, plus more for soaking

Method

Soak the almonds in water for 8-12 hours or overnight.

Rinse the almonds and peel off the skin.

Fit the main blade to the main bowl and add the almonds and the water. Press AUTO and run for 1-2 minutes until smooth.

Strain the blended mixture through a clean muslin or cheesecloth. Gather the cloth and squeeze the mixture over a bowl, leaving the pulp in the cloth. Store the milk in an air-tight container in the fridge. The milk will last for 3-4 days.
