Pizza Pinwheels

Serves makes 24

Time 30 minutes

Ingredients

3 sheets of puff pastry, defrosted

100g English-style ham, sliced

100g pepperoni, sliced

1 small red onion, diced

½ cup kalamata olives, roughly chopped

½ cup button mushrooms, sliced

1 small green capsicum, diced

2 cups grated cheese

1 cup tomato paste or ready-made pizza sauce

1 egg

1 tbsp milk

Method

Preheat oven to 220°C.

In a large bowl, mix ham, pepperoni, red onion, olives, mushroom, capsicum and cheese together.

To make the egg wash, beat the egg and milk together. 

Place the puff pastry sheets on a clean bench. Spread each sheet with tomato paste or pizza sauce. Place pizza filling mix along one end of the pastry sheet. Roll the pastry up, brush with the egg wash and cut into 8ths. 

Place onto 2 lined baking trays and cook for 15 minutes or until puffed and golden.
