Perfect Asian Marinade

Ingredients

4 tbsp soy sauce

2 tbsp oyster sauce

1 tbsp sesame oil

2 garlic cloves, finely minced

1 tbsp honey or brown sugar (optional, for added sweetness)

1 tsp grated fresh ginger (optional, for extra warmth)

Method

In a medium bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and minced garlic. For added depth, stir in honey or brown sugar and a touch of grated ginger.

Use immediately to marinate meats, fish, or tofu. For best results, marinate for:

Meats: 2-4 hours in the fridge

Fish: 15-20 minutes in the fridge

Tofu: 1 hour in the fridge
