Honey Chilli-Spiced Roasted Mixed Nuts

Serves 4-6 (as a snack)

Time 20 minutes, plus cooling time

Ingredients

2 cups raw mixed nuts

¼ cup honey

1 tbsp butter

½ tsp salt

½ tsp chilli flakes

¼ tsp ground cumin

¼ tsp smoked paprika

Method

Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a large baking tray with baking paper.

Melt the butter and honey together in a microwave-safe bowl or a small saucepan over low heat, stirring until combined. Stir in the salt, chilli flakes, cumin and smoked paprika. Add the nuts and mix well until evenly coated.

Spread the nuts onto the prepared tray in a single layer. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until golden and fragrant.

Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely on the tray. Once cool, break into chunks. Enjoy!
