Warm Marinated Flank Steak Salad

Ingredients:

500g Flank Steak

Marinade

1 tbsp ginger, grated

1 tbsp garlic, grated

1 shallot, grated

1 tbsp fish sauce

1 tbsp rice wine vinegar

1 lime juice

salt

Salad

1 red capsicum, deseeded and chopped

1 red chill, deseeded and chopped finely

1 punnet perino or cherry tomatoes

handful baby spinach

handful iceberg lettuce

2 Spring onion tops, thinly sliced

1 bunch coriander leaves

½ bunch mint leaves

Dressing

¾ cup kewpie mayonnaise

1 tbsp mirin

2 tbsp soy sauce

Method

 


Method

Marinate flank with all of the marinade ingredients in a bowl for up to an hour.

Grill for a couple of minutes on each side, turning a couple of times. Rest the meat and then slice into thin strips.

Combine the salad ingredients together and toss. Place the flank strips on top of the salad and serve.
