Tuna Slider with Wasabi Mayonnaise

Serves 12
Time 20 minutes


12 little bread buns
250g yellow fin tuna steak
olive oil
salt and pepper
1 head butter lettuce

salsa ingredients
ΒΌ cucumber, diced
1 tomato, diced
1 tbsp pickled ginger
2 tsp sesame seeds
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tbsp kewpie mayonnaise
1 tsp wasabi paste
1 bunch chives, chopped finely


Preheat the grill or barbecue.

Cut the tuna into large portion size, season with salt and pepper, a drizzle of olive oil and grill for 1-2 minutes on each side until just cooked through..

Mix all of the salsa ingredients in a separate bowl.

Split open the burgers and fill with the patties, cucumber and wasabi mayonnaise.
