Serves 4
Time 20 minutes

Burger pattie
500g minced chuck
1 tbsp molasses
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp smoked paprika
1 tbsp cayenne pepper
2 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 egg, lightly beaten
2-3 dashes hot chilli sauce
½ cup fresh breadcrumbs
salt & pepper to taste

1 cup pickled jalapeños, chopped
Tomatoes, sliced
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp chilli powder
1½ cups tomato sauce
1½ cups barbecue sauce
2 cups smoked sharp cheddar cheese sliced
6 hamburger buns
Barbecue-flavoured potato chips
Chopped iceberg lettuce
6 spring onion, chopped
½ bunch coriander, chopped

In a mixing bowl, add the mince and mix it together with the BBQ sauce ingredients.

Shape the mixture into patties and fry on a hot griddle pan. When the patties are cooked on one side flip them over and melt a cheese slice on top of it.

On the bun, add the jalapenos, tomato slices, salt and pepper, the burger pattie and cheese, lettuce with barbecue chips, tomato sauce, barbecue sauce, spring onion, coriander and top with the other half of the bun. Push a skewer through it to hold it together.
