1 x 200gms scotch fillet steak
2 slices of sourdough, toasted
1 tsp. soy sauce
2 rashers bacon
½ tomato, sliced
½ onion, sliced
2 cheese slices
1 tbsp. tomato sauce
1 tbsp. dijon mustard
1 tbsp. kewpie mayonnaise
Season meat with salt, pepper and soy sauce.
Sear steak in a hot griddle pan along with bacon and onion rings, approx. 3 min per side.
Place a slice of cheese on top of cooking steak to melt.
To assemble, butter toast, layer with mustard, tomato, kewpie mayo, bacon, steak, onion rings, tomato sauce and finally the lettuce leaves. Top with the other slice of toast.
To serve, skewer both sides of the sandwich with a pickle and cut in half.
