Spicy Nut Mylk Hot Chocolate

2 ½ cups almond milk
½ cup dark chocolate chips
¼ cup cacao powder
½ tsp vanilla extract
¼ tsp ground cinnamon
¼ tsp chilli powder
1 pinch of nutmeg

For dusted rims to serve:
Coconut sugar
Coconut oil


Add all ingredients to a medium saucepan. Over medium heat, cook until chocolate is melted and almost simmering, stirring frequently. Taste and add stevia, if needed.

Dip the rim of a mug or heat-resistant glass in some coconut oil, followed by cinnamon and a little coconut sugar, to create a dusted rim. Repeat for as many glasses as you’re using.

Pour the hot chocolate into the prepared mugs or glasses and serve.
