1pkt San Remo Small shells
3tbsp olive oil
2tbsp crushed garlic
200g Italian sausage meat
1tin cannellini beans, rinsed & drained
3 cups shredded kale
¼ cup flat leaf parsley
1 ½ cup chicken stock
½ cup grated pecorino
Salt & pepper
Cook pasta as per packet directions.
Heat oil in a pan on medium heat and add sausage meat and cook for 4mins or until opaque. Breaking meat with a spoon.
Add garlic and cook for 1min.
Next add the beans and chicken stock. Cook for 3mins. Add kale and wilt.
Strain pasta and add to pan. Add the butter, parsley and stir through.
Reduce heat to low and cook for 2mins.
- Finally, season to taste and fold through pecorino.
