Ingredients
5 thick pork sausages
¼ cup bacon. diced
½ onion, diced
3 garlic cloves, roughly chopped
4 eggs
2 large potatoes, boiled and crumbled
¼ cup spring onions
½ cup parsley, chopped
100g butter
½ cup mozzarella, diced
2 blush tomatoes, diced
½ x 375g packet katafi pastry
400ml cream
parsley
olive oil
Method
Preheat oven to 180C.
Drizzle olive oil in a hot pan and brown the sausages. Transfer to a baking dish and spread cheese, tomato and potatoes on top. Fry onion, garlic and bacon in a pan and spoon on top. In a small bowl, whisk eggs and add spring onion and cream. Pour over top over top of baking dish.
Separate pastry to become nice and fluffy. Drizzle butter and sesame seeds over the top and lay the pastry on top of the baking dish. Bake for 25 – 30 minutes until golden on top.
