Satay Salmon with Pineapple Salsa

Serves 3 as entree or light meal
Time 30 minutes


3 fillets salmon, skin and bones removed, cut into thick cubes


Salmon marinade

1 tsp satay seasoning 

Pinch chilli flakes

½ tsp sesame seeds 

Pinch salt

Black pepper

1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil 


500ml gado gado peanut sauce 


Pineapple Salsa

½ white onion, diced  

¼ pineapple, diced  

1 spring onion, finely sliced 

1 tbsp sesame seeds 

1 long red chilli 

1 lemon, juice

1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Pinch salt 

Black pepper

Pinch chilli flakes


Coat the salmon pieces in all of the marinade ingredients, set aside for 10 minutes. 

In the meantime combine all of the ingredients for the sala in a bowl.

Pour the gado gado sauce into a pot and gently heat. 

Place the salmon on skewers, about 3 pieces per skewer, and cook on a hot grill pan, 4-5 minutes on each side. 

Serve with the salsa and gado gado.
