Salmon Tartare with Avocado & Double Cream

Serves 4-6 as an entree
Time 20 minutes


Salmon & Avocado Tartare

200ml double cream 

¼ cup cucumber, diced 

½ red onion, finely diced 

1 bunch chives, diced 

½ tsp red chilli, finely diced 

1 tbsp lime 

1 tbsp dill 

¼ avocado, diced 

200g sashimi-grade salmon, diced  

Salt & pepper


To serve

2 thin slices of bread

1 tsp smoked paprika 

1 tsp toasted sesame seeds 

¼ avocado, thinly sliced


Place all of the ingredients for the salmon & avocado tartare in a bowl, use a spoon to gently fold the cream through. Be careful not to mush any of the ingredients. 

Scope out onto a large plate and serve with crispy bread, top with paprika, toasted sesame seeds and sliced avocado.
