Protein Powder Chia Chocolate Mousse

Serves 1
Time 10 minutes (+ refrigeration time)


¾ cup almond milk
2 tbsp chia seeds
1 scoop chocolate protein powder
2 tbsp cacao powder
1 tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract

To serve

Shredded coconut, toasted
Macadmia nuts
Cacao nibs


Add the milk and the chia seeds to the blender and blend for about 10 seconds. Add the protein powder, cacao, maple syrup and vanilla to the blender. Blend again until very smooth and creamy, adding a bit of extra milk if it’s too thick to blend.

Scoop the mixture into a container or bowl and place in the fridge for at least 1 hour or overnight.

Once the mousse has set, top with coconut, blueberries, nuts and any other toppers of your choice.
