Prawns with Garlic Chives and Brown Rice Noodle

Serves 2
Time 30 minutes


500g of green prawns, shell, apart from the tail, removed and deveined.
2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
2 garlic cloves, grated
2 bunches garlic chives, chopped
2 tbsp. miso
4 tbsp hot water
1 tbsp. mirin
pinch salt
200g brown rice noodles
1 coriander, chopped


In a bowl mix together the miso, grated garlic, chopped garlic chives, mirin and hot water.

Toss the prawns through the marinade until completely covered.

Place the marinated prawns on a heated grill pan and brown on both sides until just cooked.

Cook the brown rice noodles in boiling water for 3-5 minutes until tender. Toss the coriander through the noodles with a little salt and olive oil.
