Nepalese Chilli Turkey

Serves 2-4
Time 25 minutes


2 turkey breasts, boneless, sliced into strips
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 Spanish Onion, sliced into strips
2 green chillies, chopped
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tbsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp cumin seed
Salt to taste
2 cloves of fresh garlic crushed
1 inch of fresh ginger crushed
1 large capsicum, diced
2 big tomatoes, diced
1 tbsp tomato passata
3 spring onions, chopped
1 small bunch of fresh chopped coriander
2 eggs, lightly beaten


In a hot pan heat the olive olive and add the turkey strips to brown slightly.

Add the onion and green chilli and stir. Add the spices to the pan – cumin, chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, ginger and garlic. Allow to sweat for a few minutes, then add the capsicum and tomatoes. Add tomato passata, spring onions and coriander and let it cook for a few minutes. Pour in the eggs and cook through, then serve.
