650g cleaned squid hoods
1 tsp. sesame oil
1-2 tbsp fresh ginger grated
2 tsp. sambal oelek or red chillies, seeds removed
4 tbsp. agave nectar
Cut squid down centre to open, score inside in diagonal pattern then cut into thick strips.
In a large bowl combine squid, oil, agave, ginger and sambal oelek
Cook on pre-heated BBQ until colour changes approx. 3 minutes each side.
Serve the squid on a bed of rocket dressed with lime juice and olive oil.
