Frozen Kiwi Pops

Serves 12
Time 30 minutes + 4 hours freezing time


4 kiwi fruits

1 cup melted dark chocolate

2 tbsp coconut oil 

1 tbsp coconut flakes

1 tbsp chopped pistachio nuts

1 tbsp hundreds and thousands 

Pop sticks


Cut the ends off the Kiwi fruit on both sides and use a spoon to gently remove the skin from the kiwi fruit. 

Line a tray with baking paper – this will need to be able to fit into the freezer. 

Slice the kiwi fruit into rounds – about 2cm thick. 

Place a pop stick into the kiwi fruit – ensuring it will be stable once the Kiwi fruit is frozen. 

Freeze for around 4 hours – they must be solidly frozen for the dipping process to work. 

In a bowl melt chocolate – add 1 tablespoon of coconut oil to each chocolate bowl – this ensures the dipping consistency is just right. 

Dip the frozen kiwi pops into the chocolate – you can dip the whole thing, or a portion and sprinkle with toppings of your choosing.
