Doughnut, Bacon & Egg Sandwich


2 large doughnuts, glazed or coated in sugar
6 rashers Bacon, Cooked Over Medium Until Crispy,
2 eggs, fried in butter
brown sugar
knob of butter
Maple syrup


Place rashers of bacon on a baking tray. Sprinkle with a generous amount of brown sugar.
Bake in a preheated 160C oven for 15 minutes or until bacon is crispy. Set aside.
In a frying pan over a medium heat, place 2 greased egg rings. Add a knob of butter to each ring. Crack one egg into each one.
While the eggs cook, cut doughnuts in half lengthwise.
Lay strips of bacon on one side of the doughnut. Place fried egg on top. Drizzle with maple syrup.
Sandwich with the other half of the doughnut and serve.
