Chocolate and Orange Mousse


½ cup dates soaked in fresh OJ for a couple of hours (keep juice)

3 avocadoes, pitted

100g Green and Blacks organic cocoa powder

¼ cup agave, or to taste

1 tsp tamari, or to taste

1 tsp cinnamon (optional)

1 tsp good vanilla essence

2 tbls orange zest, plus extra to serve

Coconut cream or milk to serve (optional)


Drain the dates, then roughly chop. Place them in a blender or food processor with the other ingredients and blend until smooth. Pour into moulds and chill for about an hour. Serve with coconut cream and orange zest.
