Chilli, Fig and Cacao Bits


1 cup dried figs, sulphur free, soaked in ½ orange juice for a few hours

1 cup raw cacao powder

½ – 1 tsp cayenne pepper (up to you)

1 tsp vanilla essence or 1 vanilla been de-seeded

½ raw cacao, extra


Drain your figs, (keep liquid) then place in a processor with the other ingredients. Process until smooth. You may need ot add some of the soaking liquid to make a smooth paste. Now roll into small balls, then roll in the extra cacao powder, or use a piping bag and refrigerate.
