Calamari with Spinach, Garlic and Chilli


2 tbsp olive oil  

1 clove garlic, crushed

1 chilli, sliced, seeds removed if desired

300g calamari, cleaned and sliced

1 bunch spinach (250g)

1 lemon, cut into wedges





Place olive oil, garlic and chilli in a large fry pan. Heat the pan. The garlic and chilli should begin to cook. When the garlic begins to turn golden brown, add the calamari and cook until it turns white. Add the spinach, salt and pepper.  After 1 – 2 min the spinach will be soft and wilted. Divide into serving dishes. Garnish with lemon wedges.
