Blueberry Chia Jam

Serves 1 jar, approx 500g
Time 10 minutes


125g fresh or frozen blueberries
½ cup granny smith apple, skin on grated, with liquid
½ cup chia seeds
1 tbsp lime juice
¼ cup honey or maple syrup
add water as necessary


Place the berries in a saucepan with the grated apple, lime juice and simmer.

Add sweetener of choice and stir in chia seeds, whisk until well combined and mixture thickens.

Allow to cool.

Store in a sterilised jar in the fridge
