BBQ Peaches with Glazed Cherries, Vanilla Ice Cream & Sour Cream

Ingredients

Sauce
1/4 cup sugar
1 can preserved cherries

Peaches
6 ripe but firm slipstone peaches, cut in half, stone removed
50g butter
1/4 cup sugar

ice cream
peach schnapps

Method

Sauce
Pour the sugar into a small pot and allow it to caramelise. Once the sugar has caramelised, pour in the canned cherries and leave the sauce to simmer

Peaches
Lay down some foil and some baking paper on the grill plate and melt the butter with the sugar on the baking paper. Lay the peaches face down in the butter and sugar and allow them to simmer.

Serve together with ice cream and a drizzle of peach schnapps
