Balsamic Roast Beef Sandwich



roast beef, sliced
bread rolls, halved
cheddar, grated
tomato, sliced
horseradish, fresh or jarred
chives, chopped
salt & vinegar chips

1 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. flour
½ cup pan juices
1 tsp. balsamic vinegar
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce



For the gravy, melt butter in a saucepan over a low to medium heat.

Add flour and mix until a roux forms.

Pour in pan juices, balsamic vinegar and Worcestershire sauce.

Whisk for 2 – 3 minutes or until sauce has the desired consistency.

To assemble the roll, poor a spoonful of gravy on each half of the roll.

Layer with remaining ingredients. Replace top of roll.
