Murray River Salt is a unique 100% Australian product made from the underground saline aquifers which are a remnant of the last of the “Inland Seas” – The Murray Darling Basin.

This ancient sea salt contains naturally occurring minerals such as magnesium, calcium and potassium but are absolutely free from any contamination. It is these minerals that give the salt the appealing flavour and colour. Try garnishing your food with these delicate flakes and taste the difference! We advocate using less salt but seek out a good quality salt. Our belief is that why import salt from overseas into Australia when we have a serious salinity problem?
