Fillo Shards with Ice Cream
Ingredients
3 sheets thick fillo pastry
melted butter
cinnamon sugar
pistachio nuts, chopped
Lay a sheet of fillo pastry on your work surface. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with a generous amount of cinnamon sugar and chopped pistachios.
Place another sheet of fillo on top and repeat the process twice.
Cut fillo into long thin triangles.
Spread out on a baking tray and bake for 10 minutes in a preheated 180C oven.
Serve with scoop of ice cream or as a quick garnish for a creamy dessert.
